The Painting is Almost Done

After not being able to decide on Colors, we met with Christina Kittelstad of Spiral Design Color Consulting & Staging. We drove around the neighborhood and showed her some of the exteriors we liked, as well as samples of the cabinet wood and granite we picked out. The three of us came up with a great color scheme for inside and out that Jacque and I never would have thought up on our own.

Once the color were picked out, Sebastian and his crew started painting. They built a wall in the basement hall where the furnace was exposed. They did such a great job (at such a great price) that we had him build a wall with a pocket door to subdivide the large room in the basement. We now "officially" have a home gym.

I have spent the last few days putting in new lighting fixtures and door hardware.

Below are some pictures of the interior. Exterior to follow later this week once complete.

This is Kendall's room after being painted in the color of her choosing.

This is the middle bedroom that used to be pink. Turns out there were really nice hardwoods under that hideous carpet.

This is the master. The color is actually a little lighter than it looks.

This is the basement hallway, the same one where you used to be able to see the furnace.

The new color painted over the wood paneling really brightens up the basement. We just need to figure out a way to get rid of the stripper pole.

This is the new wall.

More pics to follow as work progresses.
